PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION
One of my favorite drinks. Usually you'll want to make one first for testing to be sure your bourbon to sugar to bitters ratio is just right. No really. You wouldn't want to serve one that wasn't just right. I know, I know, rough job.
For 1

Ingredients
4 oz. Bourbon (Jim Beam)
Splash of Soda Water
5 Dashes Angostura Bitters
1 t Sugar
Ice
2 Orange Rind Twists
1 Lemon Rind Twist
2 Maraschino Cherries

Directions
Put your sugar, bitters, orange, and lemon rinds in an 8 oz. glass, and fill the glass ¾ of the way with ice. With a spoon, muddle what's in the glass (i.e., mix it up good, so you bruise the rinds and get the bitters and sugar coating the rinds and the ice). Pour in your bourbon and a splash of soda water, throw in a couple of maraschino cherries, and mix with your spoon.

Enjoy!
